| How
Much Does It Cost?
The
answer to this depends on your insurance company who generally
regulates our fees. The following are some examples of typical
categories of patients.
Auto
Accident Cases: As a rule, you are usually
covered 100%
by your auto insurance or the insurance of the person at fault.
Worker’s
Compensation: As a rule, you are usually covered
100% by your
employers insurance company. Many employers require that you
have “permission” or pick your doctor from an
“approved list”. Please check with your employer
to be sure!!
HMOs
and PPOs: In these cases your particular policy
will have a co-pay and in some cases a deductible. Generally,
a co-pay is from $10.00 - $20.00
per visit. Some HMOs and PPOs require a PCP referral before
you can see a specialist. Please check or let us check for
you!
Medicare:
Medicare allows approximately $30.00
per visit which you must pay up front. At the first visit
there is also an examination charge which can run from $35.00
- $55.00. We will file your Medicare claim
for you. Medicare will generally reimburse you $23.00
for each visit. Medicare does not pay for the examination.
If you have supplemental insurance they may pay additional
amounts.
No
Insurance or No Chiropractic Coverage?
To keep things simple and affordable, we have a flat fee for
